Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our AppleCare team as an AppleCare Support II. This is a fully remote position, perfect for those who excel in a home-based work environment and possess a deep passion for Apple products and customer satisfaction. As an experienced remote hire, you will provide advanced technical support and customer service for Apple’s diverse range of products and services, diagnosing issues, guiding customers through solutions, and ensuring a world-class support experience from the comfort of your home. You will be an expert resource, handling complex inquiries and contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for Apple products and services via phone, chat, and email.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Guide customers through step-by-step solutions, using clear and concise language.
  • Educate customers on product features, services, and self-help resources.
  • Document customer interactions and solutions accurately in the support system.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate unresolved issues and share customer feedback.
  • Stay current with new Apple products, software updates, and support tools.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably with Apple products.
  • Demonstrable expertise in macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and related Apple services (iCloud, Apple ID).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency with common CRM and troubleshooting software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification.
  • Experience with remote diagnostic tools and virtual support environments.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to the UK market (e.g., French, German, Spanish).
