Job Description

Are you passionate about helping others and eager to start a career in healthcare, even without prior experience? Teladoc Health is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Online Triage Coaches. In this 100% remote, entry-level role, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking virtual care. You will conduct initial assessments to understand their needs, provide empathetic support, and guide them to the appropriate virtual care services, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-growing telehealth industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for members via our virtual platform, providing a warm and supportive experience.
  • Conduct preliminary assessments to identify member needs and concerns regarding their health inquiries.
  • Actively listen to member descriptions of symptoms or concerns, asking clarifying questions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Guide members through the virtual care process, explaining available services and next steps clearly.
  • Document all interactions and assessment findings accurately and efficiently in our system.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless transitions for members requiring further medical attention.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all member information and adhere to privacy regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing member questions and concerns with patience and understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance coaching and assessment skills.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong active listening and empathetic abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • High level of professionalism and a positive, patient-centered attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • No prior experience in healthcare is required; we provide comprehensive training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role (any industry).
  • A genuine interest in healthcare, wellness, or technology.
  • Familiarity with telehealth services or virtual communication platforms.
