Job Description
Are you passionate about beautiful aesthetics and eager to dive into the world of event design? White Lilac Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Event Decorator Assistant to join our creative team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with little to no prior experience who are keen to learn the intricate art of floral design, table styling, and overall event decor. You will work closely with our lead designers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the creation of spectacular events. This role offers an incredible opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead designers with the preparation and setup of event decor elements, including floral arrangements, table settings, linens, and props.
- Learn and apply techniques for floral processing, conditioning, and arrangement under direct supervision.
- Help with the loading and unloading of decor items at the warehouse and event venues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral studio, workspace, and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking materials and supplies.
- Provide support during event tear-down and clean-up, ensuring proper packing and storage of decor.
- Run errands as needed to pick up supplies or deliver small items.
- Contribute creative ideas and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude within the team.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for event design, flowers, and aesthetics.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (up to 30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for beauty.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a creative field, customer service, or hospitality is a plus.

- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
