Job Description
As a Retail Store Auditor at Walmart, you will be crucial in ensuring operational excellence and compliance across our stores in the Pueblo area. This role involves meticulously examining store processes, inventory management, merchandising standards, and adherence to company policies and procedures. You will travel to various Walmart locations within the assigned zip codes, conducting thorough audits and providing constructive feedback to store management to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive operational audits of assigned retail store locations, evaluating compliance with company policies, procedures, and merchandising standards.
- Verify accuracy of inventory counts, merchandise placement, pricing, and promotional displays.
- Assess adherence to safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and customer service guidelines.
- Identify discrepancies, areas for improvement, and potential risks, documenting findings clearly and concisely.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to store management, offering actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and resolution of identified issues.
- Collaborate effectively with store teams and regional management to foster a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
- Stay informed on company policy updates and industry best practices relevant to retail operations and auditing.
Required Skills

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Certification in auditing or relevant retail operations.
