Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A Day Cab Driver to join our team in Pasco, Washington. This role focuses on local routes, ensuring you are home every night. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, operating a day cab truck, and adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A day cab truck on local routes, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Transport goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and perform minor maintenance checks.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight as required.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Minimum of 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission (preferred, but not always required for all routes)
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with various types of freight and equipment
  • Hazmat endorsement (optional)
  • Forklift operation experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
