Job Description
Are you passionate about visual content and possess a keen eye for detail? Shutterstock is seeking a dedicated Remote AI Image Curator to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, tagging, and organizing a vast array of digital images, ensuring they meet our high quality standards and are accurately categorized for our AI systems and customer search functions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our AI-driven visual content platform, working entirely from the comfort of your home. You will play a crucial part in enhancing the discoverability and usability of our expansive image library.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag and categorize digital images with relevant keywords, concepts, and metadata to optimize search and AI recognition.
- Review images for quality, technical specifications, and adherence to Shutterstock's content guidelines and legal standards.
- Identify and report any inconsistencies, errors, or areas for improvement in existing image metadata or AI interpretations.
- Collaborate with content and AI development teams to refine tagging protocols and improve AI model accuracy.
- Stay updated on visual content trends and AI tagging best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in a remote work environment.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in identifying nuanced visual elements and abstract concepts.
- Excellent understanding of image composition, lighting, and aesthetic principles.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
