Job Description
FreshBooks is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Digital File Organizer to support our vibrant community of freelancers. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in managing, categorizing, and maintaining digital files and documents for a diverse portfolio of freelance clients. Your expertise will help our clients streamline their operations, ensure easy access to critical information, and improve overall productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient digital filing systems and naming conventions for various client projects and documents.
- Categorize, tag, and organize a wide range of digital assets including invoices, contracts, project files, client communications, and creative assets.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all digital platforms and cloud storage solutions.
- Regularly audit and maintain digital folders, archiving outdated information and ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
- Collaborate with freelance clients to understand their specific organizational needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide basic technical support related to file access and digital system usage.
- Document organizational processes and create 'how-to' guides for clients as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices for digital file management and cloud technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital file management and organization.
- Proficiency with cloud storage platforms (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of data security and privacy principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain organizational concepts.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
