Job Description

This vital role involves safely and comfortably transporting patients between various departments within the hospital. No previous experience is required as we offer 100% paid, comprehensive training to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and courteously transport patients, using appropriate mobility aids (e.g., wheelchairs, beds, trolleys), to and from various hospital departments.
  • Assist patients with movement and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to coordinate transport logistics.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, infection control policies, and patient confidentiality protocols.
  • Respond promptly to transport requests and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient movements as required.
  • Report any issues with patient well-being or equipment functionality to senior staff.
