Job Description

This vital role involves safely and comfortably transporting patients between various departments within the hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously transport patients, using appropriate mobility aids (e.g., wheelchairs, beds, trolleys), to and from various hospital departments.
- Assist patients with movement and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to coordinate transport logistics.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, infection control policies, and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Respond promptly to transport requests and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of patient movements as required.
- Report any issues with patient well-being or equipment functionality to senior staff.
