Job Description
Are you passionate about design, organization, and helping others live their best lives? California Closets is seeking a talented and creative Wardrobe & Closet Organizer to join our Vancouver team on a contract basis. This unique gig is perfect for individuals with an eye for detail, a flair for aesthetics, and a knack for transforming chaotic spaces into functional, beautiful havens. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop personalized organization systems, and bring their dream closets and wardrobes to life. This is an on-site role, requiring direct client interaction and hands-on organizing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess client needs and space requirements.
- Design and propose customized wardrobe and closet organization solutions.
- Categorize, sort, declutter, and organize clothing, accessories, and other items.
- Implement efficient and aesthetically pleasing storage systems.
- Provide expert advice on wardrobe styling and maintenance.
- Ensure client satisfaction through exceptional service and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organization trends and products.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in home organization, interior design, or a related field.
- Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in space planning and organization techniques.
- Physical ability to lift and move items, and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in professional organizing or interior design.
- Experience with CAD software or design visualization tools.
- Portfolio showcasing previous organization or design projects.
- Familiarity with California Closets products and systems.
- Customer service experience in a luxury or design-focused environment.
