Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Banker to join our team in Pasco, WA. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours guaranteed each week. As a Retail Banker, you will be the face of U.S. Bank, providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their banking needs, and helping them achieve their financial goals. You will handle transactions, identify sales opportunities, and build lasting relationships within the community. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate U.S. Bank products and services.
- Open new accounts, process loan applications, and assist with other banking products.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay current on products and services.
- Assist with daily branch operations, including balancing cash drawers and maintaining branch security.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or cash handling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous banking or financial services experience.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
- Demonstrated sales or referral experience.
