Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented WFH Teleperformance Payroll Data Clerk to join our Finance Sector team. This 100% remote position is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll data for our employees. As a Payroll Data Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to payroll administration, data entry, and record keeping. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage time effectively in a virtual environment. The ideal candidate will be a stable and reliable contributor, committed to upholding the integrity of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and process payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Verify timekeeping records and consult with employees and supervisors for any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports.
  • Maintain meticulous payroll records and employee files, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Respond to basic payroll inquiries from employees in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to payroll system improvements or data analysis.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with payroll processing software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP).
  • Basic understanding of payroll principles and employment tax regulations.
