Job Description
Are you a skilled and customer-focused driver looking for a dynamic role in a high-traffic environment? Enterprise Holdings is seeking an Airport Shuttle Driver to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and our various car rental facilities, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all customers. Key Responsibilities
- Operate an airport shuttle bus safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, providing courteous and helpful service.
- Maintain strict adherence to predetermined schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting passengers with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior and exterior.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and airport regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and logs accurately.
- Respond to unforeseen situations or emergencies calmly and effectively.
Required Skills
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement
- Clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3-5 years)
- Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong sense of punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an airport shuttle driver or similar professional transportation role
- Familiarity with Kansas City International Airport (MCI) layout and surrounding areas
- Basic mechanical knowledge or ability to perform minor vehicle checks
