Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Lead Chauffeur to join our premier team at The Westin Huntsville. This pivotal role involves not only providing safe, timely, and discreet transportation services to our distinguished guests and executives but also leading and managing a small team of chauffeurs. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, and proven leadership abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining fleet standards, and delivering a consistent five-star service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level chauffeur services for hotel guests, VIPs, and corporate clients, ensuring punctuality, safety, and discretion.
- Oversee the daily operations of the chauffeur team, including scheduling, dispatching, and assigning routes.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of chauffeurs, ensuring adherence to company policies, service standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure the immaculate condition and maintenance of all fleet vehicles.
- Manage vehicle records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and service history.
- Assist with route planning and navigation, utilizing advanced GPS and traffic monitoring systems.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and any on-road situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and points of interest in and around Huntsville.
- Collaborate with the concierge and front desk teams to coordinate transportation needs and enhance guest experiences.
- Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with local transportation regulations and company standards.
Required Skills
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional driving or chauffeur experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Exceptional knowledge of Huntsville and surrounding areas.
- Impeccable communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to operate luxury vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Discreet, professional, and courteous demeanor.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) if applicable.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel or executive transportation environment.
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with fleet management software and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
