Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopify B2B Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team in Medicine Hat. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management and optimization of our wholesale portals built on Shopify Plus. You will play a key role in enhancing the B2B customer experience, driving wholesale sales, and ensuring seamless operations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and support our B2B clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the Shopify Plus wholesale platform, including product listings, pricing, and user accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the B2B customer journey and increase wholesale conversions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align B2B portal features with business goals.
  • Identify, implement, and test new Shopify apps and integrations to improve wholesale functionality and efficiency.
  • Analyze B2B sales data, user behavior, and performance metrics to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide technical support and training to B2B customers regarding portal usage and order placement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the wholesale platform and integrated systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, B2B e-commerce trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in Shopify Plus and its B2B functionalities.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing wholesale portals.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and B2B sales cycles.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting data and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with other CRM or ERP systems integrated with Shopify.
  • Familiarity with Liquid templating language for Shopify theme customization.
  • Project management experience in an e-commerce environment.
