Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Revenue Manager to join our dynamic team in Kentlands, Gaithersburg. This role is pivotal in maximizing revenue and optimizing profit for our hotel properties by developing and implementing effective pricing strategies, inventory management, and distribution channel optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality market trends, competitive analysis, and forecasting techniques. This position offers visa support for qualified international candidates, reflecting our commitment to global talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic revenue management plans to achieve and exceed budgeted goals.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive set performance evaluations, and demand forecasting.
  • Optimize pricing strategies across all segments and channels, including transient, group, and extended stay.
  • Manage inventory distribution systems and ensure accurate rate parity across all platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze reservation pace, booking patterns, and market share performance.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and drive holistic revenue generation.
  • Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through new initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Property Management Systems (PMS), and GDS.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or certifications in Revenue Management (e.g., CRME).
  • Experience with Marriott's specific revenue management tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with the Gaithersburg/DMV market.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
