Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Head of Shopify Growth to join our executive team and drive the next phase of our e-commerce expansion. This high-impact role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in the Shopify ecosystem, capable of optimizing our digital channels, enhancing customer experience, and significantly increasing online revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing our global Shopify strategy, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring our digital presence reflects the quality and innovation synonymous with the Simons brand. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven Shopify growth strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of e-commerce specialists, including Shopify developers, merchandisers, and digital marketing experts.
- Oversee the optimization of conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value across all Shopify stores.
- Manage the Shopify platform, including app integrations, theme customization, and overall technical performance, collaborating closely with IT.
- Drive continuous A/B testing, personalization, and user experience enhancements based on analytics and customer insights.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging technologies, and strategic partnerships to scale our Shopify operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer journey.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in e-commerce and Shopify to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
- Manage significant e-commerce budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI for all growth initiatives.
- Present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on Shopify growth.
- Demonstrable expertise with Shopify Plus, including advanced customization, app integration, and platform management.
- Proven track record of driving substantial e-commerce revenue growth and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
- In-depth understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), search engine optimization (SEO), paid media strategies (SEM, social), and email marketing specific to Shopify.
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the fashion, retail, or luxury goods industry.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
- Familiarity with the Quebec retail market and Canadian consumer behaviour.
- Certifications in Shopify development, digital marketing, or project management.
