Job Description
As a Junior Game Producer (Microsoft) on our Creative Career Path, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of innovative and engaging gaming experiences. This position is designed for individuals with a passion for game development, strong organizational skills, and a desire to learn the intricacies of game production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, engineers, and quality assurance, helping to ensure projects stay on track, meet quality standards, and are delivered efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring producer to gain hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading technology and gaming companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior producers in managing project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between various development teams (art, design, engineering, audio, QA).
- Help organize and track tasks using project management tools.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
- Support the identification and mitigation of project risks and roadblocks.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment.
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes, summaries, and action items.
- Help manage asset pipelines and content integration processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Game Production, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with game development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience (e.g., internships, academic projects) in game development or project coordination.
- Basic understanding of project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
- Passion for video games and familiarity with various gaming genres and platforms.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
