Job Description
Jabil Inc. is seeking a diligent and organized Manufacturing Admin Assistant to support our factory operations in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of our manufacturing facility, contributing to efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to factory management, production teams, and various departments, handling a range of tasks from data entry and report generation to scheduling and facility coordination. You will be a key player in a dynamic environment, helping to maintain operational excellence and foster a productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to factory management and production teams.
- Manage and organize factory-related documents, records, and reports, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for factory personnel.
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of production logs, inventory records, and employee information.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and presentations.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment for the factory floor and administrative offices.
- Support onboarding processes for new factory hires, including documentation and orientation scheduling.
- Act as a liaison between factory staff and other corporate departments.
- Assist in tracking and reporting production metrics and key performance indicators.
- Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Experience with factory safety protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish) a plus.
