Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Weekend Remote YouTube Assistant to join our dynamic content team. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring the discoverability and optimal performance of our YouTube content by meticulously managing video metadata, tags, and other backend details. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of YouTube’s platform, SEO best practices for video content, and a passion for accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize YouTube video titles, descriptions, and thumbnails for search and discoverability.
- Research and implement relevant keywords and tags for each video to maximize reach.
- Manage and update video metadata, including categories, language, and licensing.
- Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all YouTube content elements.
- Monitor video performance metrics related to metadata effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with content creators to understand video topics and target audiences.
- Stay up-to-date with YouTube algorithm changes and best practices for SEO.
- Assist with other ad-hoc YouTube channel management tasks as needed.
Required Skills
