Job Description

Regis Salons in Little Rock is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bridal Hair Assistant to join our growing bridal team. This role is perfect for cosmetology students, recent graduates, or anyone with a basic understanding of hair styling who wants to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and rewarding world of bridal beauty. You will travel to various wedding venues within the Little Rock area and surrounding regions, assisting our lead stylists in creating stunning bridal and bridal party hairstyles. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead stylists with hair preparation, including washing, blow-drying, and sectioning hair.
- Help set up and break down styling stations at wedding venues, ensuring all tools and products are organized.
- Prepare clients for styling, including applying styling products and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of styling tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Support lead stylists by handing them tools, pins, and products as needed during styling.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Run errands as directed by the lead stylist (e.g., getting water, holding items).
- Punctually travel to various wedding venues, often early in the morning.
- Adhere to all salon and client service standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of hair care and styling techniques
- Strong passion for the beauty industry and bridal aesthetics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various venues
- Availability to work primarily on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays)
- Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a cosmetology program
- Previous experience in a salon or assisting role (even if unpaid)
- Familiarity with various updos and bridal hair styles
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
