Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TV Wall Mount Installer to join our growing team in Chesterfield. This is a crucial role for individuals who possess a strong technical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for the safe and precise installation of various types of televisions onto walls, ensuring optimal viewing angles, secure mounting, and tidy cable management. The ideal candidate will arrive equipped with their own professional tools and demonstrate expertise in working with different wall materials and TV models. This position offers high pay for a professional who takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional and secure wall mounting of televisions of various sizes and weights.
- Assess wall types and recommend appropriate mounting solutions, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Manage all cabling discreetly and aesthetically, providing a clean and organized finish.
- Test all installed equipment to ensure full functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to customers on how to use their newly installed TV and associated devices.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and communication throughout the installation process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during installation.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a TV wall mount installer or similar technical installation role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measurement equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various wall types (plasterboard, brick, concrete, stud walls) and appropriate mounting hardware.
- Strong understanding of TV display technologies, HDMI, and other common audio/visual connections.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must possess own comprehensive set of professional tools required for TV mounting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CEDIA, City & Guilds in electronics or similar).
- Experience with advanced cable management solutions and in-wall wiring.
- Knowledge of smart home integration and multi-room audio/visual setups.
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement available).
