Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide support with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and feeding.
- Assist with medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisory staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Document care services provided accurately and timely.
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Amarillo and surrounding areas.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Commitment to upholding client dignity and confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- CNA certification (not required, but a plus).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of basic nutrition and meal preparation.
