Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a flexible and active part-time job in Rialto? DoorDash is seeking enthusiastic and reliable High School Delivery Crew members to join our team, focusing on bike and scooter deliveries. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn money, stay active, and gain valuable work experience while working around your school schedule. You’ll be responsible for picking up food and other items from local restaurants and businesses and delivering them promptly to customers within the Rialto area. We’re looking for individuals who are comfortable navigating city streets, committed to excellent customer service, and ready to contribute to their local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate efficiently through assigned delivery zones using a bike or scooter.
- Pick up orders from various restaurants and stores accurately and on time.
- Deliver orders to customers' doorsteps in a timely and courteous manner.
- Handle payments and ensure all order details are correct upon delivery.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers and merchants.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on delivery routes.
- Communicate effectively with customers and support team regarding order status or delays.
Required Skills
- Must be enrolled in high school or equivalent.
- Possession of a reliable bike or scooter and all necessary safety gear (helmet, lights).
- Ability to use a smartphone for navigation and order management.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Basic understanding of local geography and street navigation.

- Previous experience with delivery services or customer-facing roles.
