Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Medical Image Annotator to join our innovative team in Wichita, Kansas. In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial part in advancing healthcare AI by accurately labeling and segmenting medical images. Your work will directly contribute to the development and refinement of AI models that assist clinicians in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Precisely annotate and segment various medical images (e.g., X-rays, CT scans, MRIs) using specialized software tools.
- Adhere strictly to annotation guidelines and protocols to ensure high data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and medical professionals to understand project requirements and refine annotation standards.
- Participate in quality control processes, reviewing annotated images for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide constructive feedback on tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient data and medical information.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new annotation techniques, medical terminology, and software updates.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort with software applications.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Basic understanding of medical or biological concepts (e.g., anatomy, physiology) is a plus.
- Strong ethical conduct regarding patient data confidentiality.
