Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wealth Management Associate to join our Professional Finance path in Manhattan. This role is designed for individuals eager to build a foundational career in wealth management, providing support to financial advisors and contributing to the overall client experience. You will play a crucial role in client relationship management, investment operations, and financial planning support, working closely with a team of experienced professionals to deliver tailored solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist financial advisors with client portfolio reviews, investment research, and financial planning analyses.
- Prepare client presentations, proposals, and other necessary documentation for meetings.
- Handle client inquiries, account maintenance, and operational tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Support the onboarding of new clients, including documentation and transfer processes.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and investment products.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., trust & estates, banking, lending) to provide holistic client solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal firm policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (internship or full-time) in financial services, wealth management, or a related field.
- Progress towards or possession of FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
- Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and wealth planning concepts.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, NaviPlan) or CRM systems.
