Job Description
Elite Household Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Mother’s Aide to join a private family in New Port Richey, Florida. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for an organized and proactive individual who enjoys supporting a busy household. The successful candidate will be responsible for a balanced mix of light housekeeping duties and attentive childcare, providing invaluable assistance to the mother and ensuring the smooth running of daily family life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging childcare support for children, including supervision, interactive play, and age-appropriate educational activities.
- Assist with light household management tasks, such as tidying common areas, organizing children's rooms, and general upkeep.
- Prepare light, healthy meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Manage children's laundry and assist with family laundry as needed.
- Run errands related to household needs or children's activities (e.g., grocery shopping, dry cleaning, school pickups).
- Organize and maintain household inventory for children's supplies and light cleaning essentials.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children and the family.
- Communicate effectively and discreetly with the mother regarding children's activities, needs, and household matters.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or a similar domestic support role (minimum 1 year).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful and discreet demeanor.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a high level of personal integrity.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
- Genuine love for children and patience in interacting with various age groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR.
- Prior experience with toddlers or school-aged children.
- Clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
- Educational background in early childhood development or a related field.
- Experience working in a private household setting.
