Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Fast Food Porter to join our McDonald’s team in Huntington Beach. The Porter is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our restaurant, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our customers and staff. This role involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks, contributing directly to our high standards of operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors in dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen.
- Clean and disinfect tables, chairs, counters, and other high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to company guidelines.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and ovens, as directed.
- Ensure restrooms are consistently clean, stocked with supplies, and well-maintained.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of cleaning supplies.
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Support other team members with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and cleaning chemicals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or food service role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
