Job Description
Join Deliveroo as a Last-Mile Bike Courier and become an essential part of our delivery network in Toxteth, Liverpool. This role offers incredible flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and earn money on your schedule. You’ll be responsible for picking up food and other items from local restaurants and stores and delivering them efficiently and safely to customers within your designated zone. If you enjoy being active, navigating your city, and providing excellent service, this opportunity is perfect for you. No prior experience is necessary; we provide all the training and support you need to get started.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up orders accurately and on time from partner restaurants and stores.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers' specified locations.
- Ensure food quality and presentation are maintained during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Manage delivery times effectively to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate any issues or delays with customers and support team.
Required Skills
- Ability to ride a bicycle safely and efficiently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of local street networks or ability to navigate using GPS.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Access to a smartphone with internet access.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Familiarity with the Toxteth and wider Liverpool area.
- A positive attitude and a passion for customer satisfaction.
