Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Audio Editor / Podcast Producer to join our dynamic remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about audio storytelling and production, eager to kickstart their career in the podcasting industry. You will be responsible for editing raw audio, enhancing sound quality, and assisting in the overall production of various podcast series. This role requires a keen ear, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. No prior professional experience is required, but a strong interest in audio production and a desire to contribute to high-quality content are essential. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw audio files, including cutting, trimming, and arranging segments to create compelling podcast episodes.
- Clean up audio, removing unwanted noises, hums, clicks, and ensuring consistent sound levels.
- Add music, sound effects, and voice-overs as directed to enhance narrative and production quality.
- Assist in the post-production process, including mixing and mastering audio for various distribution platforms.
- Collaborate with producers and content creators to understand project requirements and achieve desired artistic vision.
- Review and proofread audio content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of episodes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new audio editing technologies.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to improving production workflows.
Required Skills
- Strong listening skills and a keen ear for detail.
- Basic understanding of audio editing principles.
- Proficiency with common audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, GarageBand, or similar free/entry-level tools).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.

- Passion for podcasts and audio storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
