Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Records Aide to join our professional team in a remote capacity. This vital role involves accurately managing and organizing patient health information, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the seamless flow of clinical operations from a work-from-home environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately file, retrieve, and maintain patient medical records in both physical and electronic formats.
  • Ensure all patient data is entered correctly and consistently into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Process requests for medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Perform quality checks on records to identify and correct any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Assist with the scanning and indexing of documents into the digital record system.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and administrative staff regarding record inquiries.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and security protocols for protected health information (PHI).
  • Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated on best practices and system changes.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Certification in Medical Office Administration or Health Information Technology
