Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Theme Park Operations Manager to oversee the daily operational activities of our park located near Garland, Texas. This critical role ensures the seamless and safe operation of all park areas, including rides, attractions, guest services, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theme park management, a passion for guest experience, and proven leadership abilities. This position offers relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of daily park operations, including rides, attractions, ticketing, guest services, and park cleanliness.
- Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of operations supervisors and frontline staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Monitor operational efficiency, guest flow, and staffing levels, making adjustments as needed to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.
- Respond to and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, food & beverage, retail, marketing) to ensure integrated park operations.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, control expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
- Conduct regular inspections of park areas and equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

- Proven experience in theme park or large-scale entertainment venue operations management.

- Proficiency in operational budgeting and financial management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the amusement industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as required by park operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience with attraction ride systems and operational software.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages.
