Job Description

Join Floyd’s 99 Barbershop as a Barber Shop Host, playing a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment clients walk through our doors. This position is perfect for an energetic individual who loves interacting with people and thrives in a fast-paced, music-filled environment. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring every client feels welcomed, informed, and valued. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our busy shop. This role offers a competitive hourly wage plus the opportunity for additional tips.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all clients upon arrival, managing check-ins and appointments efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area, front desk, and common spaces.
  • Assist barbers and stylists with client flow, ensuring timely transitions between appointments.
  • Process payments and operate the cash register accurately.
  • Promote and sell retail products, providing information on their benefits.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Support general shop operations to ensure a seamless client experience.
