Job Description
Join the dynamic team at ASM Global as a Weekend Crowd Controller for our exciting sporting events in Columbus. This casual, part-time role is perfect for individuals looking to work flexible hours, primarily on weekends, ensuring the safety, comfort, and positive experience of all attendees. You will be a vital part of maintaining order, providing excellent customer service, and responding effectively to any crowd-related situations during high-energy events.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor assigned sections of the venue to ensure compliance with safety regulations and venue policies.
- Provide clear and concise directions to guests regarding seating, facilities, and emergency exits.
- Assist guests with inquiries and resolve minor conflicts or issues professionally and courteously.
- Act as a first point of contact for guest concerns, escalating complex issues to supervisors as needed.
- Control access points, verify tickets, and manage guest flow during entry and exit periods.
- Respond promptly and effectively to crowd disturbances, medical emergencies, or other incidents.
- Work collaboratively with security personnel, event staff, and emergency services.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout all assigned shifts.
Required Skills

- Previous experience in crowd control, security, or event staffing.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures.
- Familiarity with large venue operations and sports event protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
