Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietetic Assistant with a strong Health Strategy focus to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is crucial in supporting our employee wellness initiatives by assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition-related programs. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of dietetics and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles, contributing to strategic discussions, and leveraging data to enhance program effectiveness. You will work closely with our health and wellness specialists to develop innovative approaches to employee dietary health.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of nutrition education materials and wellness programs tailored for UPS employees.
- Support the collection and analysis of data related to employee dietary habits and program effectiveness to inform health strategy.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for wellness workshops, seminars, and health screening events.
- Research current nutrition trends and evidence-based practices to contribute to strategic health planning.
- Communicate effectively with employees, answering basic nutrition questions and directing complex inquiries to registered dietitians or health specialists.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program participation and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of health and well-being across the organization.
Required Skills
- Strong foundational knowledge of nutrition and dietetics principles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications
