Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fast Food Facility Support team member to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at our McDonald’s restaurant in Fayetteville, NC. This crucial role ensures a safe, inviting, and sanitary environment for our valued customers and hard-working crew members. You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of cleaning and maintenance tasks, directly impacting the positive experience people have when visiting McDonald’s. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and windows.
- Regularly clean and restock restrooms to ensure hygiene and availability of supplies.
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly, both inside and outside the facility.
- Clean kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and equipment surfaces, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain exterior premises, including sweeping sidewalks, picking up litter, and ensuring a presentable entrance.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing lightbulbs or reporting larger repair issues to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and company operational regulations.
- Assist with inventory and organization of cleaning supplies.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established cleaning procedures diligently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or similar maintenance role, especially within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
