Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Healthcare Data Analyst to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various healthcare sources.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights.
  • Support senior analysts in ad-hoc data requests and special projects.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all analytical processes.
  • Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Prior internship or project experience with healthcare data.
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HL7).
  • Understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
