Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Healthcare Data Analyst to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various healthcare sources.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights.
- Support senior analysts in ad-hoc data requests and special projects.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all analytical processes.
- Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience with healthcare data.
- Experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, R).
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HL7).
- Understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
