Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Fleet Logistics Specialist with an Autonomous Tech focus to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position based out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, supporting our clients’ advanced logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting fleet operations, with a particular emphasis on the integration and performance of autonomous technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of logistics principles, a keen interest in emerging autonomous vehicle technologies, and excellent data analysis skills to drive efficiency and innovation in client fleet management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze performance data for client fleet operations, with a specific focus on autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle segments.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements in fleet routing, scheduling, and resource allocation using data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with client teams to integrate and support new autonomous technologies into existing logistics frameworks.
- Develop and maintain reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fleet utilization, maintenance, and autonomous system reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for autonomous fleet management systems and related software.
- Research and stay current on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in autonomous vehicle technology and logistics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training materials for client staff on new fleet technologies and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of autonomous vehicle technologies and their application in logistics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI platforms) and report generation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Experience with Fleet Management Systems (FMS) or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in logistics, supply chain, or project management.
- Familiarity with IoT solutions and telematics data for fleet optimization.
- Experience working with cloud-based logistics platforms.
- Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations.
