Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Entry Level Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our night shift team in Temecula, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the healthcare field who are eager to start their career and make a difference in patients’ lives. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting the nursing staff to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to the nursing staff.
- Document patient care observations, activities, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with intake and output measurements.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients.
- Respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Required Skills
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move patients and equipment safely.
- Reliability and strong work ethic, particularly for night shifts.
- No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience in a volunteer or observation role within a healthcare setting.
