Job Description
Are you passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their full potential? BetterUp is seeking a dedicated WFH Dream Coach to guide our members in setting ambitious goals, overcoming obstacles, and realizing their aspirations. This fully remote role involves leveraging our innovative platform to provide personalized coaching, fostering a growth mindset, and celebrating client successes. You will work one-on-one with a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them clarify their visions, strategize actionable steps, and maintain momentum on their journey to personal and professional fulfillment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members to identify and define their personal and professional goals.
- Develop tailored action plans and strategies to help members achieve their objectives, focusing on accountability and progress.
- Provide ongoing support, motivation, and constructive feedback to members, addressing challenges and celebrating milestones.
- Utilize BetterUp's proprietary platform and tools to track member progress, schedule sessions, and manage client relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical coaching standards and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities provided by BetterUp.
- Collaborate with a community of fellow coaches, sharing insights and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in coaching, counseling, or mentorship roles (minimum 2 years).
- Exceptional active listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to empathize, build rapport, and inspire trust with diverse individuals.
- Demonstrated capability in guiding individuals through goal-setting processes and accountability.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and disciplined to manage a client portfolio independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- ICF (International Coaching Federation) certification or equivalent coaching credential.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with online coaching platforms and virtual engagement strategies.
- Background in human resources, learning and development, or organizational psychology.
- Familiarity with positive psychology principles and evidence-based coaching methodologies.
