Job Description
Tyson Foods is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the role of Food Production Associate in our Nashville facility. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekly pay, focused on ensuring the efficient and safe production of our food products. You will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and contributing to our high standards of quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production line machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and boxing of finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Lift and move raw materials and finished products as required (up to 50 lbs).
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety principles.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certifications in food handling or safety.
