Job Description

As a Digital Social Media Assistant, you will support our social media team in monitoring trends, creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and analyzing performance. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a dynamic team. Your primary focus will be to identify viral trends and help adapt our brand content to resonate with current online conversations and audience interests. You will contribute to increasing brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth across various social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social media channels and identify emerging trends, viral content, and audience conversations relevant to our brands.
  • Assist in the creation and curation of engaging text, image, and video content tailored for different social platforms.
  • Schedule and publish social media posts according to content calendars and real-time trends.
  • Support community management efforts by engaging with followers and responding to comments/messages.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics, identifying key insights and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with content creators, editors, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and trend relevance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and platform updates.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube).
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, viral content, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic content creation skills (e.g., ability to draft compelling captions, basic image selection).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later).
  • Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express).
  • Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
  • Passion for media, fashion, lifestyle, or culture content.
