Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Online Singing Teacher to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, part-time position where you will provide engaging and effective singing lessons to a diverse international student base. You will be responsible for creating personalized lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in vocal performance and pedagogy, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help students achieve their musical goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one online singing lessons via video conferencing platforms.
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, goals, and skill levels.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Teach various vocal techniques, warm-ups, breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, and song interpretation.
- Introduce students to different musical genres and styles.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with students and Lessonface staff.
- Manage your schedule and lesson bookings efficiently.
- Stay updated on best practices in online music education and vocal pedagogy.
Required Skills
- Exceptional vocal performance and technical proficiency across multiple genres.
- Proven experience teaching singing to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Strong understanding of vocal anatomy, physiology, and health.
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and video conferencing software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet teaching environment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Music Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, or a related field.
- Experience teaching students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Familiarity with music theory and harmony.
- Ability to teach an instrument in addition to voice (e.g., piano, guitar).
- Proficiency in additional languages.
