As a Hospital Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital, providing essential support to patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and operating theatres.
- Moving equipment, medical supplies, specimens, and confidential documents throughout the hospital.
- Assisting with the setup and dismantling of equipment for procedures and events.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of patient transport equipment.
- Responding promptly and courteously to requests from medical staff.
- Ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and hospital policies.
- Providing a friendly and reassuring presence to patients.
- Assisting with general duties to support the efficient running of the hospital.
