Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain team. This role, based in Pasco, WA, will be instrumental in supporting our Houston-based global supply chain operations, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of suppliers and categories, ensuring continuity of supply, quality, and competitive pricing for critical components and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings.
  • Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance) to understand material and service requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, spend data, and supply chain risks to inform procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical sourcing guidelines.
  • Support the resolution of supplier quality, delivery, and payment issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings, and key metrics.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, APICS).
  • Experience with global supply chain operations and international sourcing.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Proven track record of driving significant cost reductions and process improvements.
