Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Insurance Admin Assistant with a focus on claims processing to join our team in Garland, TX. In this crucial role, you will provide administrative support to our claims department, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of insurance claims. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist claims adjusters with administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and document preparation.
  • Process incoming claims forms and related documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical claim files, ensuring all necessary information is readily accessible.
  • Communicate with policyholders, agents, and third parties to gather required information or provide updates as directed.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for claims adjusters.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed for claims processing.
  • Verify policy information and entitlements to assist with claim validation.
  • Perform general office duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and ordering supplies.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to claims handling.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and participating in team meetings.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of administrative or office support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent data entry speed and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
