Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Mitigation Monitor to join our team in Manchester, NH. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and project-specific mitigation measures on various construction and development projects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior staff, gaining valuable field experience in environmental monitoring, data collection, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site monitoring of construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental permits, mitigation plans, and best management practices.
- Document observations, take photographs, and maintain detailed field logs of daily activities and environmental conditions.
- Identify potential non-compliance issues and communicate them promptly to project managers and site supervisors.
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports.
- Collect environmental samples (e.g., water, soil) as directed by senior staff or project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with construction personnel, clients, and regulatory agency representatives.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and meetings as required.
