Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and log laboratory specimens according to established protocols.
  • Prepare specimens for testing, which may include aliquoting, centrifugation, and labeling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including laboratory equipment and workstations.
  • Monitor and stock laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Perform basic data entry and record-keeping related to specimen processing.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Assist laboratory technologists and scientists with routine tasks as needed.
  • Dispose of biohazardous waste in accordance with safety guidelines.
