Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Shopify Expert to join our digital team, focusing specifically on enhancing our sustainable and eco-friendly brand presence online. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Shopify ecosystem, with a proven track record of optimizing e-commerce platforms for growth, user experience, and conversion. This role is critical in translating our brand values of environmental stewardship and product quality into a seamless and impactful online shopping experience. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and strategic development of our Shopify store, ensuring it aligns with our sustainability mission and delivers exceptional customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize our Shopify e-commerce store, ensuring high performance, security, and user experience.
- Implement and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and custom functionalities to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to launch new products, promotions, and content.
- Monitor website analytics, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements for conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Ensure all digital content and features effectively communicate our sustainable and eco-friendly brand message.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the Shopify platform, apps, or integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and e-commerce best practices, especially within sustainable retail.
- Manage third-party integrations with ERP, CRM, and other essential business systems.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Shopify Expert or Developer.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and SEO.
- Experience with Shopify app integration and customization.
- Ability to analyze website performance data and implement data-driven improvements.
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability, environmental responsibility, or eco-friendly brands.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Shopify Partner Certification or equivalent.
- Experience with headless Shopify implementations or progressive web apps (PWAs).
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience working with a brand focused on outdoor goods or sustainable apparel.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop) for minor adjustments.
