Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Salinas. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and personal care services to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring client safety and well-being.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (e.g., nursing assistant, personal care aide).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Spanish).
- High school diploma or GED.
