Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Salinas. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and personal care services to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medication reminders and monitor vital signs as needed.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring client safety and well-being.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (e.g., nursing assistant, personal care aide).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Spanish).
  • High school diploma or GED.
