Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Narrator Assistant. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity with comprehensive training provided, focusing on clinical documentation and support. As a Medical Narrator Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare providers, primarily documenting patient encounters in real-time, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our electronic medical records system. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient medical histories, physical exams, and clinical findings during patient encounters.
- Record all diagnoses, procedures, medications, and other pertinent information as dictated or observed.
- Ensure all documentation meets compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and medical-legal guidelines.
- Facilitate timely communication of documentation to clinicians for review and sign-off.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Actively participate in ongoing training, development programs, and performance reviews.
- Assist in retrieving medical records and other related administrative tasks as needed to support clinical operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong listening and observational skills with the ability to process information quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and medical terminology rapidly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn specialized EMR systems.

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or current enrollment in a health-related field (e.g., pre-med, nursing, health sciences).
- Basic understanding of medical anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Previous volunteer or paid experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
